The purpose of the Jordan 1 Nova XX EP was to revive the classic Air Jordan 1 from 1985 while equipping it with enough novel and unique features to give it a new lease on life. That's precisely what this shoe does. The general shape of the classic silhouette remains, but instead of a leather ankle strap, this shoe has a strap made of white synthetic fabric that is held in place by a buckle. As in the original, there is a Jordan Wings logo on the strap. It's also white but is raised above the material of the strap. Laces are redirected to run along opposite sides of the tongue, instead of down the middle. The sole is made of white and gray rubber.
