Saturn Vue Headlights

You can replace the headlights for your model Saturn Vue. All you need is a set of replacement headlights, a screwdriver, and a wrench. There are unique headlights you can install on the Vue if you want to try a different look on the compact Saturn SUV.

What types of headlights are available for the Saturn Vue?
  • Factory - Factory headlights are standard headlights that you can use to replace your old headlights safely. These headlights provide original factory quality, and your compact SUV does not need any modifications for them to be installed.
  • Projector - Projector headlights project light onto the road and provide excellent light output. They are a good choice for your Saturn vehicle if you want focused light. In a projector headlight, the bulb is mounted in a projector bowl so that it reflects light toward the magnified projector lens. The projector housing is inside the headlight, and it is, usually, removable.
  • LED - Some car owners like how the small LED lights look on their cars. Individual LEDs are tiny and can be arranged in various shapes. Saturn Vue LED headlights are bright and efficient.
How do you install headlights on the Saturn Vue?

First, you need to remove the top two screws on the existing vehicle headlight. To pull the headlight off, you must take out the turn signal lens. Use the screwdriver to press and release the tab down behind the headlight. Unscrew the three screws that hold the bulb in place. Wiggle and twist the light bulb to pull it out, and then, push up on the bulbs tabs with a screwdriver to get the harness and light bulb to separate.

Pull the light bulb away from the harness, and then, attach the new light bulb to the harness. Insert the light bulb back into its place in the headlight while making sure not to touch the bulb with your hands. Touching the bulb with your hands shortens its life. Screw in the three screws around the bulb. Put the Saturn headlight assembly back in place, and check that the bulb turns on. Push the tab in behind the headlight with your screwdriver to lock it in. Then, reattach the two bolts at the top with your wrench. Put the turn signal lens back in place by sliding it into the two slots and pressing down on the push screw to lock it into place.
